Sergeant Logan Will’s path into law enforcement began with his graduation of the Law Enforcement Recruit Academy at Fox Valley Technical College in 2014. He then began his career with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office as a Correctional Deputy in April of 2015. In May of that year, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Ripon College, graduating with a self-designed major in Criminal Justice. Three months after being hired, Sergeant Will was promoted to Patrol Deputy, the position he held until being promoted to Patrol Sergeant in July of 2019. During his time as a Patrol Deputy he also served as a Field Training Officer and had experience working on both 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Sergeant Will currently serves as a member of the Honor Guard and additionally is a member of the SWAT team as a Tactical Operator. In December of 2018, he became certified as a Defense and Arrest Tactics Instructor. Sergeant Will has also served as a member of the Deputy Reserve Unit since 2015.
