Captain Tyler Broderick is the Jail Administrator for the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, overseeing the operations of the county jail with a focus on safety, security, and inmate programs. Promoted to Captain/Jail Administrator in April 2026, Captain Broderick previously served as Assistant Jail Administrator from 2019 to April 2026, where he led daily jail operations and supported administrative functions and policy implementation.

Captain Broderick began his career with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Jail Division in 2006 as a correctional officer, working on both 2nd and 3rd shifts. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2013, supervising 3rd shift, and then to Staff Sergeant in August 2016, where his primary responsibilities included overseeing the Huber Division. In addition to his leadership roles, he is also a member of the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Reserve Unit.

Captain Broderick holds an associate degree in Police Science from Fox Valley Technical College. He brings extensive field experience, strategic leadership, and a commitment to excellence in law enforcement administration to his current role.
