The principle purpose of this Benevolent Association shall be to enhance the general welfare of the community, and to promote the continuing growth and overall health of the community.
The further purpose of this Benevolent Association is to cultivate friendship and fellowship among its members and to otherwise promote the social and economic welfare of the Benevolent Association. The Board of Directors of the Benevolent Association shall be authorized to take such action as they believe necessary to promote such social and economic welfare of the Benevolent Association.
The Benevolent Association will NOT provide for a Retirement Fund of a cash benefit for its members upon retirement on pension; nor shall funds from the Benevolent Association be divided to benefit individual members.
